About the role

The Quality Manager is a strategic leader essential for ensuring excellence in the quality of our products and processes. This key role leads the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, drives continuous improvement, and ensures customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing direct and effective support to customers on quality-related matters.

  • Acting as the main point of contact to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Controlling, analyzing, and improving production and quality processes to optimize efficiency and reduce defects.

  • Implementing and maintaining quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

  • Managing and calibrating measurement equipment to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

  • Identifying, leading, and executing improvement projects using Six Sigma methodology.

  • Applying statistical tools and problem-solving techniques to eliminate variability and improve efficiency.

  • Using problem-solving techniques (8D, A3, PDCA) to identify and correct root causes of quality issues.

  • Standardizing work processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.

  • Defining, monitoring, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of quality processes.

  • Generating reports and presenting results to management.

  • Actively participating in the introduction of new products, ensuring compliance with quality standards from design to mass production.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Completed degree in engineering, IMA, IME.

  • More than 10 years of experience in quality areas.

  • Experience leading high-performance teams.

  • Mastery of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan).

  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes.

  • Black Belt certification in Six Sigma with demonstrable experience in applying the methodology in improvement projects.

  • Experience in quality systems IATF 16949 or TS 16949.

  • Advanced proficiency in Minitab, with the ability to perform complex statistical analyses and generate reports.

  • Mastery of problem-solving techniques (8D, A3, PDCA).

  • Mastery of root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa Diagram).

  • Advanced conversational English.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
