Your Career

Palo Alto Networks Next-Gen Firewall / Cloud Security test engineering team is looking for a seasoned and accomplished Senior Manager with experience in Networking, Cloud and/or Firewall Security technologies. You will be part of a world-class software test engineering team that works on qualifying various ground-breaking Next-Gen Firewall / Cloud Security products and services.

As a Customer Profile Solution Test Manager (handling customer solutions across different industry market verticals) you will be expected to lead and participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from definition, design, through implementation, test and field deployments.

Your Impact

  • Build a high performing diverse team and foster an environment of innovation, collaboration and inclusion

  • Drive a results-oriented culture with a strong focus on execution, quality, and speed

  • Work closely with the product management organization to develop and deliver on product roadmaps

  • Lead cross-functionally with PANOS software, Prisma Access/ SASE, CDSS ,Operations and Quality Engineering teams to bring new NGFW / Cloud Security products & services to the market in a timely fashion with excellent quality

  • Be able to provide the direction to the team on best practices, templates, framework to be used for automation

  • Work closely with Engineering escalation and customer support teams to improve end-customer outcomes

  • Be a strong mentor and coach to the team

  • Foster innovation in the organization

Your Experience

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Other engineering/technical degree or equivalent military experience required

  • 15+ years of experience in highly technical roles in test engineering or enterprise services, at large organizations or innovative startups

  • Strong domain expertise in building and delivering large-scale Networking/Security Products / Solutions

  • Experience leading software test teams involved with qualifying features and customer use cases

  • Good understanding of Enterprise products - Firewall, Routers, Switches, Servers etc.

  • Experience with Customer engagements (both proactive and reactive)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $180,200/yr to $291,500/yr.
