Overview

•  This role is primarily customer facing, and is primarily focused on ensuring the successful execution of Mastercard initiatives in CAB across Digital Payments, Prepaid, Credit or Debit Cards by partnering with Mastercard clients,

•  The position is based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and reports to an Account Management Director. This resource will work closely with the Country Manager of Aruba, and Curacao as well.

• The main reasonability of this role is to lead the successful execution of existing and new business initiatives with existing clients leveraging all Mastercard’s assets and applications for Caribbean markets.

This person should be able to:

o  Align execution efforts with Account / Country Managers and other internal stakeholders (Products, Marketing, Customer Delivery, CIS, etc.), within the market, regional and global teams; exhibit strong leadership and accountability in the process

o  Quickly build rapport and trust with multiple levels of a client organization, with the objective of facilitating information sharing, and increasing visibility into third party execution efforts

o  Adhere to strict time tables, and be accountable for the on-time execution of business initiatives; be able to successfully influence third party organizations for the on-time delivery of initiatives

o  Track the performance of the current portfolios as well as of the pipeline of new initiatives against plan and/or original business cases

•  Support the deal negotiation process and the creation/approval of financial business cases

All About You

•  Solid experience (+5 years) in the Caribbean market or in business verticals close to payment or financial technology industry.

•  Strong client management, business development, or sales experience – ability to understand customer and constituent needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends and competitive landscape.

•  The successful candidate must be commercially savvy, sales driven, and at ease during negotiations with customers; he/she must be a skilled negotiator; must demonstrate the leadership skills to identify opportunities both internally within the account management teams, as well as externally with financial institutions and alternative distribution channels

•  Strong financial acumen; proven ability to perform quantitative analysis to build business cases, report on program results and present to internal and external parties; Excellent writing and presentation skills; ability to develop and communicate program strategies and vision to executive management

•  Team player; strong influencing skills, with the ability to convince and execute through others who do not report directly

•  Self-starter, able to work under limited supervision, and in an ambiguous environment; used to dealing with short-term financial targets, and high pressure environments

•  Background in Digital, Technology and Solution / Consulting selling is a plus

•  Fluent in English and Spanish
