RGP Bilingual Accounting Manager (Portuguese/English) in Sao Paulo, Brazil
RGP is partnering with one of our global clients in Brazil to help in their search for an Accounting Manager in Sao Paulo. We are looking for someone who speaks both English and Portuguese and can work a hybrid schedule (1-2 days in the office). This role is responsible for managing a broad range of accounting policies and areas. We are looking to partner with someone on an Independent Contractor basis with the potential for a longer term alignment with our client.
This is a very autonomous role which requires someone with a lot of accountability who can work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities will include:
Corporate and local financial reporting
Regulatory compliance
Working with outside accounting support
Interfacing with the Tax group regarding sales and payroll taxes along with transfer pricing
Cash flow management
Balance sheet and GL reconciliations
Maintaining SOX compliance
Process improvement
BS degree in Accounting or Finance
CRC and public accounting firm experience in accounting and audit (Big 4 preferred)
ERP experience
Blackline experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
History of thriving in a dynamic environment
