Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Sarasota, Florida
Description We are looking to bring an Accounts Receivable Clerk into our team located in Sarasota, Florida. This position plays an integral role in the financial operations of our organization, primarily focusing on the management of receivables and utilization of various software to handle Accounts Receivable tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of receivables for key clients
• Utilize relevant software, such as Oracle 12, for handling Accounts Receivable tasks
• Maintain exact customer records and resolve any customer inquiries
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Use various skills such as Account Reconciliation, Cash Collections, and Microsoft Excel to ensure efficient operation
• Use software like QuickBooks and SAP for billing and cash applications
• Work closely with other team members to ensure all financial operations are running smoothly
• Continually improve processes and systems to increase efficiency in the Accounts Receivable function
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks. Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge of Billing procedures
• Familiarity with Cash Applications
• Expertise in Cash Collections
• Experience in Commercial Collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• High level of accuracy and efficiency
