Fairview Health Services Dishwasher in Sarasota, Florida

Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages starting from $16/hr . All wage determinations will be based on relevant experience.

We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our team! This position participates in providing a total quality dining service program. This includes thorough cleaning of dishware, flatware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, equipment, and facilities to meet sanitation standards. Position may also perform a variety of food preparation duties such as preparing cold foods and shellfish, slicing meat, and brewing coffee or tea. This position includes:

  • 64 hours every two weeks

  • Day/evening shifts

  • Every other weekend; holidays as needed

  • Washes and ensures dishes, pots and pans, and utensils are at the highest standards of cleanliness

  • May assist with special events as needed

  • Ensures the proper use of equipment and supplies and upholds cleaning and safety standards

  • Performs cleaning, mopping, sweeping, garbage removal, and dusting kitchen and dining room

  • Reports to the Cook or Culinary Director any equipment and supplies that are needed

Required:

  • 1 year previous experience

Preferred:

  • 1-3 years previous experience

  • High school diploma/GED

  • Approved Food Sanitation Safety Course - must be acquired within first 90-days
