Siemens EDA is the longest standing Electronic Design Automation company in the world and over the last 30 years has amassed the finest technology portfolio in the business. Our software tools span the full breadth of semiconductor and electrical systems solutions including integrated circuit design and verification, PCB design & manufacturing solutions, cable harness design tools, and embedded software.
This position is a part of the Atlas Graduate Program. Through this program, you will receive 12 months of technical and non-technical training, mentorship from Siemens EDA executives and world-class engineers, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving software challenges in the area of electronic design automation.
Siemens EDA has an opportunity for ASIC Digital Design and Verification Specialist to be part of an extended international design IP development team working with Tessent Embedded Analytics. Tessent Embedded Analytics, part of Siemens EDA, is a pioneering developer of analytics and monitoring technology at the heart of the systems-on-chip (SoCs) that power today’s electronic products. Our embedded analytics technology allows product designers to add sophisticated cybersecurity, functional safety and performance tuning features; and it helps resolve critical issues such as increasing system complexity and ever- decreasing time-to-market. We are proud of our technology and selling globally to many of the most respected and most exciting technology companies in the world.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, modify and implement silicon IP blocks with a focus on surpassing customer expectations.
• Work collaboratively with design, verification and architecture teams to understand and develop design specifications and verification strategies.
• Contribute to the evolution and continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Create and deliver internal technical presentations.
• Some travel, domestic and international.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• BS degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering related field is required.
• Experience in Python or other scripting languages (JavaScript, Perl, TCL, etc.)
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Strong desire to create high quality solutions.
• Self-motivated and able to work constructively and productively on a team, as well as independently, is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Experience with RTL coding using Verilog/VHDL.
• Experience with a Verification Language (System Verilog, Specman e)
• Familiarity with IC design and implementation.
• Knowledge in Formal Verification Techniques.
• Possess a positive, can-do demeanor and capable of balancing multiple projects effectively and simultaneously.
