Looking for an HVAC technician, ideally with 5 years experience, but we are willing to train an inexperienced candidate if they are serious and meet other general qualifications. This is a full time position - 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day, plus overtime for after hours calls, as needed. Technician will be on call for nighttime and weekend emergencies every other week. Shop office is in West Saugerties; worksite area is within Ulster County and parts of Greene County. We are offering a two week trial period for suitable applicants. After 1 year with the company, we will offer a 401k SEP plan, paid vacation, and paid sick leave.
Duties and Responsibilities

Installation, troubleshooting and repairing of oil and gas fired equipment (boilers, furnaces and water heaters), air conditioning, and heat pumps.
Communicating with customers in a clear, friendly and professional manner discussing scope of work, sequence of operations, safety measures, efficiency concerns, and product information. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance. Filling out paperwork (work orders, vehicle inspection reports)
Maintaining the technicians company truck (keeping clean, checking oil, managing tools and materials, etc.) Keeping a consistent record of punctuality and attendance, arriving at scheduled appointments on time and adhering to the assigned work schedule. Required Skills and Abilities prior heating and/or cooling experience preferred computer skills and use of electronic devices for scheduling, invoice creation and communication to staff and customers must be able to work on a ladder and be able to lift 50 pounds Bonestell Burners Thermotechnical is a family owned company that has been successfully serving Ulster County for over 27 years.
