Qualifications you'll bring:
- Degree or Equivalent: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a law school; interest in health law preferred
Must be in good academic standing with minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong research/analytical skills, organizational/time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases (LexisNexis).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Required to maintain highest levels of confidentiality.
- Your key responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
- Support attorneys to draft and review legal/business documents (e.g., insurance products; company policies; Business Associate Agreements; corporate governance; subpoenas).
- Participate in team and client meetings.
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents.
- Organize and send documentation to regulators.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
