Position Purpose

The Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst plays a key role at First Fed in providing data driven intelligence and insights across all business units through the analysis, design, creation, maintenance, and scheduling of reports, dashboards, and scorecards for all areas of the institution. Creates and maintains a catalogue of queries and reports for audit purposes as well as ensuring consistency between members of the Business Intelligence and Reporting Team.? Maintains process for requesting new reports, dashboards, and scorecards as well as requesting changes to existing reporting. 

 

Essential Functions

Responsible for the analysis, design, and delivery of specialized reports, dashboards, and scorecards to expose multiple data sources to empower critical business decisions to drive growth, value, efficiency, and financial results across the organization. 

Maintains expert knowledge of organizational data sources and reporting tools to ensure quality and completeness of BI at an enterprise level. 

Performs regular audits to evaluate the quality and integrity of the data across all reporting. 

Works across functional areas to understand business drivers, metrics, and KPI's; and identifies data sources and reporting objectives to develop relevant and timely reporting. 

Evaluates, analyzes, and recommends potential for opportunities that enhance business direction and processes. 

Performs in-depth tasks and analysis needed to monitor adoption, usage, and performance to drive continuous improvement. 

Develops clear and concise data visualizations and written interpretations for communication of results to various management and user groups. 

Provides guidance and training to staff in the use of data sources and reporting tools. 

Ensures compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) regulations and other federal and state regulations pertinent to this position. Complete annual BSA training in a timely manner in accordance with BSA regulatio
