Job Summary
Provides administrative and clinical supervision and support to direct service staff and interns. Participates actively in program, department, and agency leadership teams and provides leadership support to teams within Y Social Impact Center. This position ensures a seamless system of high-quality response, assessment, intervention, and referral for all clients served by the program.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is full-time an anticipated schedule Monday, Wednesday, Friday (8am - 5pm) and Tuesday and Thursday (10am to 7pm). This position works occasional evenings and weekends.

Hiring Range: $85,000-$90,000/year
Responsibilities
Maintains a proportional client caseload providing WAC and KC P&P counseling services.
Recruits, hires, trains, coaches, and evaluates assigned clinical staff and interns.
Provides clinical and administrative supervision and support to direct reports, interns, and team, including individual supervision meetings, group case consultation, and fielding crisis intervention calls when needed. Remains current in the latest trends of mental health treatment.
Conducts weekly team triage meetings and staff meetings to discuss matters pertaining to treatment issues, policies and procedures, case management, and staff relations.
Plans and/or facilitates relevant trainings for the development of staff skills and knowledge
Maintains qualifications as an Independent Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist through the Washington State Department of Health.
Develops, updates, and implements policies and procedures to meet contract requirements and of the agency, including personnel, treatment services, and records.
Monitors staff documentation and individual case records by utilizing the reports in the electronic health record, periodically spot-checking case records from each staff and ensures timely documentation of services and productivity.
Represents the YMCA at interdisciplinary community meetings
Ensures all children and families served receive high quality and effective services. Ensures urgency, intensity and frequency of services calibrated to the youth and family’s individual cultural background and mental health needs, and that families are bridged to long term community supports.
Ensures staff and interns interface and effectively work with courts, probation department, and other agencies and professionals, and that they develop successful treatment programs for various types of individuals.
Conducts quality assurance (QA) activities so that all services are delivered and documented per WAC and King County contractual requirements. Participates in formal QA review process.
Supports in the preparation of county or state audits and responds to corrective action post audit.
Partners with leaders in other YMCA programs and divisions to build community across the Y and to ensure participants are receiving relevant and effective services.

Qualifications
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, and independently licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist through the Washington State Department of Health.
This supervisory position will provide clinical supervision of staff.
Two or more years of experience providing community-based services to youth and families from a broad range of cultures and who have a wide variety of needs. Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered.
Fifteen hours of training in clinical supervision approved by the Department of Health and meets WAC requirements as an approved clinical supervisor.
Understands and adheres to state and federal confidentiality regulations. Understanding of relevant Washington Administrative Codes (WAC) and Revised Code of Washington (RCW).
Always conducts self ethically and professionally.
Demonstrates strong decision making and communication skills. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Knowledge and experience with evidence-based treatment models and other assessment tools.
Holds the conviction that mental health is a treatable illness and recovery is possible.
Intermediate proficiency with computers, competent with Microsoft Office software and case management/client tracking software and previous experience tracking and summarizing data into reports in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications
Two or more years training and experience providing emergent, skills-focused, intensive, short term crisis intervention for families and/or experience working with youth and families in the Child Welfare System.
Experience with wraparound, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused service delivery models.
Working knowledge of youth and family mental health, juvenile justice, commercial sexual exploitation of children, and chemical dependency systems and providers in King County and Washington State child welfare system (strongly preferred).
Knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical activity, sexual orientation, etc.).
Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
