As a member of the Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team overseeing the Food Services program for corporate office space, this position is responsible for driving strategy and identifying opportunities to improve and optimize food service across the America’s corporate office portfolio.
The Food Services Program Manager must demonstrate a sense of urgency, bias for action, attention to detail and be comfortable operating in both the strategic and tactical level. Deep subject matter expertise, along with formal program and project management skills is critical. This individual must also have experience developing, implementing and managing a number of scalable programs, simultaneously.
The optimal candidate is an experienced, passionate professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial culture – providing vision, leadership, and communication – but not afraid to dive into details. They should have a passion for food services operations and customer experience as well as great attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision to enhance customer experience, streamline reporting, and drive efficiency across GREF’s corporate office space. Reporting to the AMER IFM Lead, this position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the workplace experience for Amazon employees and drive innovation. The role will be based in Seattle, WA and will include some travel.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and implement a comprehensive food services strategy aligned with Amazon's workplace design guidelines and business objectives.
• Oversee program including café, catering, commissary, kitchenette, and vending services across AMER corporate office locations.
• Oversee and improve food program under following areas; Employee Experience; Financial Management; Vendor Management, Operations Management, Data Management, Technology Strategy.
• Lead annual planning process for food services, including demand forecasting, budgeting, and strategy development.
• Collaborate with food vendors to plan annual services and offerings.
• Conduct periodic site visits to major markets to evaluate service operations; build strong relationships with stakeholders including regional portfolio managers, GREF teams, and partners.
• Develop SOPs and review and manage KPI metrics to drive optimal performance of food vendors.
• Manage vendor contractual relationships, compliance, and spend; with the goal of optimizing operations and financials based on building size, population, and location
• Develop branding and marketing guidelines for food services.
• Research and recommend emerging technologies and tools to transform GREF foodservice operations.
• Develop and manage the annual budgets and operating plans and present in monthly/ quarterly business reviews, approve program financial reporting, and ensure compliance with Amazon's Spend and Transaction Policy.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of program or project management experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Contract food service operations knowledge/experience, with a proven ability to define and execute change strategies.
Previous experience working with cross-functional teams to dive deep and find solutions to complex program problems related to food services.
Self-starter with strong organizational skills and capacity to prioritize in a complex, fast paced environment.
Proven track record of interaction with customers and establishing relationships with key stakeholders and policymakers.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and productivity software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Quip, Asana, SmartSheet, and SharePoint.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
