Key job responsibilities
As a Technical Program Manager on our team, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs that have a significant impact on our organization. Your role will encompass larger initiatives that span multiple teams within the Shopping Foundations organization ensuring alignment and collaboration across the board.
Key expectations include:
Manage the mShop Beta Program: Oversee the execution of our beta testing initiatives, gathering feedback and driving improvements to enhance the user experience and app performance.
Drive Builder Quality Programs: Lead efforts to establish and maintain high-quality standards for hundreds of Amazon’s native mShop developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for the organization, contributing to OP1/OP2 narratives and taking ownership of one or more key organizational goals to ensure strategic alignment and accountability.
In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive high-impact projects and enhance the overall quality of our mobile shopping app. Your ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders will be essential in achieving our mission of delivering an exceptional customer experience.

We equip builders with the guidance, tools, and guardrails they need to innovate fearlessly, enhancing the Amazon shopping experience without compromising quality.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
