GSG Control Management aims to ensure that Business Units have a robust first line of defense, playing an active role in supporting the business to meet its objectives and demonstrating an effective control framework. This role is for Testing Analyst, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will report into a Team Leader. The primary responsibility is to ensure colleagues deliver world class service to our customers whilst being compliant with market regulations, internal policies, and sales conduct. This is delivered by providing:
Testing and Controls (Voice & Non-Voice)
Control Management Support / Insights
Process and Testing Alignment / Improvements
Responsibilities:
Perform various type of monitoring programs for Japan market, mainly for TLS and Acquisitions (ICS, GCS, GMNS)
Collaborate with Control Management Team, Compliance and Business Leaders, actively share findings from the monitoring
Maintain testing documents to support implementation of the First Line of Defense (1LOD) operational risk responsibilities
Advocate of the American Express Leadership Behaviors
Skills and attributes:
Fluency in speaking, reading and business writing in English and Japanese (JLPT N2 or above)
Deep understanding about AEXP products, services and selling channels
Experience working with audit, compliance, operational risk/control functions are preferred
Experience in TLS and Acquisitions (ICS, GCS, GMNS) would be an added advantage
Proficiency in MS Excel, Sharepoint, Word, Powerpoint
Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem solving
Strong relationship building experience / ability to develop relationships with business partners and leadership teams
Strong sense of personal accountability and demonstrate self-starter with ability to work in a dynamic and time critical environment
Demonstrate growth mindset and role modelling of BlueBox values
Demonstrate learning agility and integrity
