I.GENERAL SUMMARY & OVERALL CHALLENGES

Driving key growth initiatives across Danaher operating companies. Leading LMS China Localization and Open Innovation projects with the support of LMS global sending team and LST localization & Innovation president.

II.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify Kaizen funnel, prioritize and aligning the Kaizen Funnel for the key strategic Initiatives, and be a keen practitioner of applying DBS Fundamental tools across OpCo.

  • Partner with OpCo GM to create the environment, throughout the OpCo, where DBS can flourish, while inspiring associates, driving engagement and enabling changes.

  • Architect DBS plan: Matching OpCo’s strategic, CVD and KPI needs with a DBS plan that delivers short to mid-term results while developing organizational DBS capability and commitment.

  • Enhance knowledge across DBS domains with specific focus (esp. Commercial, Innovation).

  • Drive sustained Kaizen results that impact OpCo CVDs through effective facilitation and mentorship/coaching of leaders, associates, and Kaizen teams.

  • Closely work with OpCo global DBS community to continuously implement global DBS tools to drive business results.

  • Develop and execute a localization strategy to meet China’s Made-in-China requirement for Government funded purchase.

  • Develop business cases to get buy-in from LMS L1 Team for the selected key products.

  • Establish a project team leveraging all existing OpCo resources in order to complete the localization of approved products.

  • Develop project plans, identify dependencies, crafts and assess time and budget estimates. Analyze critical path, risks, and constraints, and identify resource requirements. Maintain full control of project timelines, resources, and budgets.

  • Support and interact with commercial teams to make smooth transitions from imported to localized products.

  • Identify and develop business cases for local innovation projects, get approved by LMS L1 team.

  • Seek potential external partners for the potential open innovation opportunities.

III.REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

Education & Experience

  • Commercial Roles: Sales, Marketing, Strategy, BU leader, Commercial excellence, Service

  • Operations Roles: MFG, Quality, Engineering, Supplier Chain

  • Innovation Roles: Product development, new product launch

  • At least 2-3 years GM L2 equivalent experience in multiple function roles; focusing on commercial is highly recommended

  • Strong belief in DBS

  • Willing to stay in role for 2-3 years
