Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner .This role is pivotal in driving HR solutions, managing workforce needs and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations within the Plastics Manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the implementation of human resources policies and programs, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including ADA, EEO, FMLA, and FLSA
• Aid plant leadership in applying HR programs to departmental operations
• Assist employees with day-to-day inquiries pertaining to HR-related matters
• Manage and improve human resource policies and procedures
• Oversee all activities related to recruitment such as posting open positions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and updating job descriptions
• Manage the onboarding process for newly hired salaried employees
• Conduct exit interviews and workplace investigations
• Compile HR metrics and report to management
• Analyze local labor & compensation trends to develop initiatives to maintain competitiveness in the labor market
• Assist with the annual performance review process.
Requirements
Ideally seeking 5-10+ years of professional experience in Human Resources, manufacturing experience is a plus.
A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred
Must demonstrate excellent listening skills, along with the capacity to assess and navigate complex situations effectively.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across various levels of the organization.
Familiarity with key HR functions, including hourly recruitment, employee relations and engagement, benefits management, payroll, policy implementation, compliance, and related areas.
