What the day will look like
Working as part of the Transaction Solutions team on the following activities, with a particular focus on tax liability opportunities.
Advisory and delivery of tax liability insurance solutions with existing Aon clients and prospects and prospects new to Aon.
Engagement of external distribution channels (accounting firms, lawyers, investment banks and private equity firms, multinational corporations, etc) and internal Aon client teams to build relationships and deliver tax liability insurance solutions to clients and prospects.
Maintenance of relationships with tax insurance underwriters.
Regular attendance at external client meetings and seminars with a view to building relationships.
Preparation of presentation materials and collation of data and other collateral for business development and deal specific use.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Tax professional (with at least 4 years) with a focus on Asia from leading law / audit firms.
Knowledge around how M&A deals are conducted, and in particular the tax due diligence process.
Experience dealing with tax issues on business transactions outside of M&A.
Excellent people skills with the ability to work with others under pressure and to resolve conflict in a constructive manner.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to effectively and confidently present to clients and other audiences.
Possess enthusiastic, creative thinker and sound judgement.
Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e., word, excel, powerpoint.
