Job Title: Maintenance Helper
Job Description
A fiberglass and composites manufacturer in Tomball is seeking a maintenance helper to join their team. The maintenance helper will train under maintenance technicians and collaborate closely with the machine shop. Responsibilities include assisting with projects, machinery installations, routine preventive maintenance, and other miscellaneous tasks.
Responsibilities
Assist maintenance technicians with various projects
Participate in machinery installations
Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks
Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
Execute miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Must Haves
1+ years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Experience with hand tools and power tools
Mechanical aptitude and inclination
Good job tenure with past companies
Comfortable with working long overnight shift
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience as a maintenance helper or maintenance technician
Experience in maintenance repair

Work Environment
The work environment is a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility currently undergoing renovations, with plans to expand in 2025. The night shift runs from 5 PM to 5 AM, Monday through Friday, with weekends. You would start on first shift while in the training process and then switch over to night shift once you catch up to speed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
