Cooke Aquaculture Facilities Manager in St. George, New Brunswick

We are searching for a Facilities Manager to join our maintenance team in St. George, NB. They will be responsible for the maintenance and care of our buildings in Charlotte County, which includes overseeing cleaning services, managing some grounds maintenance, and ensuring the proper functioning of critical equipment such as boilers, HVAC systems, and other building systems.
Responsibilities:
Identify, assess, conduct, coordinate and oversee building maintenance.
Ensure the upkeep, safety, security and cleanliness of all the buildings.
Act as the first point of contact for building related emergencies and coordinate an appropriate response.
Work with maintenance team to troubleshoot and ensure all necessary repairs and care to the facility are executed, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical and some grounds care.
Responsible for emergency repairs and response (ex, snowstorms, natural disasters).
Coordinating contractors for services such as installs, inspections, or repairs.
Comply with WorkSafe NB regulations, as well as health, safety and environmental laws and regulations.
Responsible for all documentation of maintenance, both scheduled and emergency related.
Coordinate cleaning of all buildings.
Manage maintenance, security, mail run and cleaning teams.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in industrial/commercial maintenance.
5+ years’ experience in managing/supervising a team
Extensive knowledge of building construction, plumbing, mechanical systems, carpentry, and electrical systems.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with each building owner and contractor management.
Technologically proficient with the ability to operate computers, scanners, printers, smartphones, and various software programs.
Honest, transparent, accountable, and adapts easily.
Capacity to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Self-motivated, results-driven and enjoy working in a collaborative and team environment
A valid Class 5 drivers' license.
Available for on-call duties or emergencies.
