We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Repair Technician to join our team in the video inspection industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics repair, with a focus on diagnosing and repairing video inspection equipment. This role requires hands-on expertise in soldering, electronics troubleshooting, and a solid understanding of video systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair video inspection equipment, including cameras, monitors, and related electronic components.
Perform soldering and desoldering of electronic components to repair circuit boards and assemblies.
Test and calibrate repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with video systems, including signal processing and display problems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used, time spent, and solutions implemented.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in video inspection technology.
Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in soldering and desoldering techniques.
Strong knowledge of electronics, including circuit design, components, and troubleshooting.
Experience with video systems, including cameras, monitors, and signal processing.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple repair tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and documenting repairs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in electronics repair, preferably in the video inspection or related industry.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
Work Environment:
This is an on-site position that requires working in a repair lab or workshop environment. The role may involve occasional lifting of equipment and working with small, delicate components.

Hourly Rate $18.00 - $22.00

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $36,600.00 - $55,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
