The Research Foundation for The State University of New York at Stony Brook Senior Postdoctoral Associate in Stony Brook, New York
Required Qualifications: (as evidenced by an attached resume)
Doctoral Degree or foreign equivalent degree. Three years of research experience. Demonstrated expertise in psychopathology. At least two first-authored publications. Demonstrated expertise in advanced multivariate statistics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coordinating externally-funded studies. Familiarity with diagnostic interviewing. Familiarity with biological (neural or genetic) or behavioral (language, speech, or face) measures.
Position Summary:
The Senior Postdoctoral Associate will assist the Principal Investigator Dr. Roman Kotovin the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. The incumbent will independently and/or with colleagues conduct research and ensure that all experiments are appropriately conducted following the policies and procedures of Stony Brook University. The incumbent will assist the Principal Investigator with the supervision and management of the lab.
Duties:
- Conduct data management and analysis.
- Manuscript writing for publications in scientific journals.
- Supervise staff.
- Writing grants.
- Other duties as assigned.

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.
