JOB DESCRIPTION PAINTER
Absolutely MUST have experience in industrial painting. Painting cars is not the same as large equipment
-
Experience in painting large industrial equipment. Direct to metal paint.
Experience with epoxy primer
Experience with urethane topcoat
Must be able to work in fast paced environments
Manage and maintain paint booth
Help out in other areas of assembly when down-time in paint
-Reads and follows shop order and paint schedule and / or receives instructions from supervisor regarding painting
Preparing, priming, painting manufactured product and parts
Disposing of all hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
Use of abrasives, solvents, brushes, washing tanks and sandblaster as needed
Sandblast parts consistent with internal quality needs and customer standards as needed
Monitoring paint operations to identify flaws such as blisters or streaks and correct blemish as well as cause
Keep work areas clean and orderly
Attention to detail
Ability to wear respirator
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted as required
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Other assignments as approved per RPM Staffing
