We are seeking a talented and motivated Summer Intern to conduct business intelligence investigation on existing immunoassays and LC-MS assays on drugs of abuse that are used in chief medical examiner and coroner offices. The Summer Intern will have the opportunity to work with a group of experts and contribute to the commercialization of our novel forensic diagnostic technology. This internship will provide valuable exposure to real-world practice of forensic and clinical toxicology testing, immunoassay development, marketing, and business development.Responsibilities, Duties, and Projects•Build a list of existing immunoassays on drugs of abuse•Build a list of existing LC-MS assays on drug of abuse•Identify the reagent sources for existing immunoassays•Collate the list of chief medical examiner and coroner offices that use immunoassays and LC-MS assays on drugs of abuse•Assist in developing a commercialization strategy for the novel diagnostic technologyLearning OutcomesBy the end of this internship, the student will:•Gain extensive experience in immunoassays and LC-MS assays used in forensic and clinical toxicology testing•Mentorship from industry experts and professionals •Exposure to real-world forensic toxicology challenges and problem-solving•Opportunities to contribute to impactful projects that shape the future of forensic and clinical diagnostics•A collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment
