We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manger to focus on working with Australian Software Businesses (ISV's) in Australia. The Account Manager should be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a coverage plan and consistently deliver on customer outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and deep technical background that enables them to drive engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. The Account Manager will be an exceptionally strong analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments and has very strong communication and presentation skills.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and execute against a strategic plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust pipeline of value-based opportunities.

• Analyse metrics and data from your accounts to help evolve your strategy.

• Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement.

• Work with partners to manage joint engagement opportunities.

• Assist customer in identifying use cases for priority adoption of Amazon Web Services as well as best practice implementations.

A day in the life

The ISV team focuses on Australian software companies who produce, maintain and distribute software. Our customers are business to business providers who generate revenue through software license sales or Software as a Service (SaaS) subscriptions. We help ISV customers leverage the cloud and modernize their platforms to reduce cost, increase agility and ultimately build better software products. We work at the edge of technology innovation in partnership with our ISVs and are focused on helping traditional ISVs transform, whilst also enabling the next generation of ‘born on the cloud’ Australian Unicorns.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
