Inframark, LLC Accounts Payable Specialist in Tampa, Florida
Job Description
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for assessing and processing accounts payable transactions. You will manage multiply client portfolio’s, volume of transactions processed approximately 1000 invoices monthly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepares and processes vendor invoices, check requests, and credit memos for payment.
Resolves invoice discrepancies
Maintain 1099 vendor files for accuracy and up to date W9’s for tax reporting.
Reviews vendor statements for outstanding invoices and resolves vendor inquiries and disputes
Performs and validates the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) matching process for new vendors
Processes and distributes weekly check runs
Processes payments and posts ACH payments
Assists in the year-end IRS Form 1099-MISC/1099-NEC reporting process
Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent verbal and written communications
Familiarity with accounts payable software
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Effective time management and organizational skills
Accurate and attentive to detail
Be team oriented
Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
AA in Accounting or Business and 2-3 years previous accounts payable experience or an equivalent combination of education and training. Hours are Mon-Fri 8am to 5 pm this will be onsite.
