The Outside Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities for the hotel's food and beverage outlets, and event venues. This role involves proactive sales efforts, including prospecting, networking, and building relationships with local businesses, organizations, and event planners to drive revenue. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and secure new business opportunities for hotel restaurants, bars, catering services, and event spaces.
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, associations, and local businesses.
Conduct outside sales calls, attend networking events, and represent the hotel in the local community.
Proactively solicit group dining, private event bookings, and catering referrals through direct outreach.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to maximize revenue and occupancy for the hotel's event and meeting spaces.
Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and actively follow up to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
Marketing & Networking:
Partner with the hotel’s marketing team to develop promotional materials, special offers, and campaigns to attract new business.
Attend local trade shows, networking events, and business mixers to generate leads.
Utilize CRM systems to track leads, client interactions, and revenue goals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in hospitality sales, catering sales, or business development, preferably in hotels or restaurants.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Skills:
Strong sales and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet revenue goals
Knowledge of local business and event markets is a plus
