Pharmacy Technician Service Representative

Location: Onsite in Tempe, AZ

    Job Description: As a Pharmacy Technician Service Representative , you will work in a call center environment, handling inbound calls and follow-up calls. Your responsibilities will include answering inquiries related to prior authorization, general questions, and occasionally dealing with confidential information. Providing excellent customer service with meticulous attention to detail is crucial. You’ll be measured on quality and accuracy, which may involve handling 50 to 100 calls per day, depending on complexity. Additionally, you’ll utilize various systems and programs to track information and maintain effective communication with customers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of call center experience or retail pharmacy experience.

  • Active Pharmacy Tech License

  • Candidates with high-volume call experience in a medical office (handling 40+ calls per day) will also be considered.

  • A consistent average tenure of 1 year within the last 4 years is preferred.

    Work Environment:

  • The role offers significant room for growth. Several contractors have transitioned to permanent positions and advanced to other departments (IT, PA, claims), including team leads, supervisors, and trainers.

    Schedule:

  • Must be available Monday to Saturday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with a set schedule assigned within those hours).

    Training:

  • Training occurs Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for 4 weeks.

  • Participation is crucial for success. Trainees will take 4 tests, aiming for an average score of 90% to complete training. Active participation, note-taking, and completing worksheets are essential.
