Position Overview
Shaw Industries is seeking an experienced leader to join our team as an Extrusion Supervisor (Night Shift) at our Thomson, GA Fiber Manufacturing facility . In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a talented team and play a key part in the facility's success.

Responsibilities
Commun icate standards and expectations for the team and ensure the team is effectively meeting safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Coach and develop team . Understand career goals and work with individuals on development and learning.
Support a culture of respect, accountability, and teamwork.
Collaborate with Day Shift supervisors to resolve issues within the Department.
Coordinate all Line Changes (Setup, Startup, Walk down & End Of Lot/manufacturing order according to procedures)
Coordinate with downstream d epartment to ensure proper flow of yarn through Extrusion Department
Lead a daily pre-shift meeting to cover safety, quality, and other information concerning the Extrusion Department and facility.
Ensure all training is completed following documented training procedures. Evaluate training with trainers and trainees and document on training check sheets
Communicate job assignment changes as necessary.
Proactively address staffing needs caused by changes in material, equipment, and staffing.
Complete payroll system timekeeping and address exceptions daily
Effectively address and communicate any conforming product as per documented procedures . Provide directions to technicians regarding any required mechanical issues.
Qualifications
HS/GED required
3 years in a manufacturing role
2 year s in a lead or supervisor role
