Job Title: MIG Welder - Up to $30/hr!
Job Description
As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating custom automation machinery. This role involves working with various ferrous metals and requires proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, welding parts ranging from 16 gauge to 1 inch thick on mild steel and 18 gauge to 1/2 inch thick on stainless steel. You will be fabricating parts using power tools, hand tools, and measuring parts using tape measures and blueprints. Some pipe welding will also be required.
Responsibilities
Fabricate custom automation machinery.
Work with various ferrous metals.
Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel.
Use power tools, hand tools, and measuring tools to fabricate parts.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Perform pipe welding as needed.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of welding experience.
5 years of fabrication experience.
Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding.
Experience welding mild steel (16 gauge to 1 inch thick) and stainless steel (18 gauge to 1/2 inch thick).
Custom fabrication experience in a job shop environment.
Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints.
Experience using hand and power tools (grinders, combination square, allen wrenches, screwdrivers, tape measure).
Basic computer skills, including working with 3D models and ERP software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Pipe welding experience is a plus.
Welding certifications are a plus.

Work Environment
This position operates on the 1st Shift from 6 am to 4 pm Monday through Thursday, with additional hours on Fridays as needed. The company designs and builds custom automation machinery and supports several industries, including automotive, sporting, and aerospace. The team consists of 70 employees, and the work environment is collaborative, leveraging the latest automation technologies to provide comprehensive engineering solutions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tiffin, Ohio.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
