Job Summary

As part of the Compass/Chartwells team at Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa Falls, GA, you will support the business to promote effective operations from sourcing to service, as well as implementing successful long term strategic plans that align with client objectives. We empower our leadership teams to drive business objectives, manage the ongoing program growth to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

If so, as a Compass/Chartwells General Manager you will foster teams with a high level of enthusiasm, creativity, and business acumen. You will analyze, visualize, and tailor campus operational efforts with an appropriate level of product creativity and innovation. You will bring to the table strong leadership, employee development skills, sound cost management experience, and solid managerial expertise. You will also possess a keen understanding of customer identity, service, and ability to deliver, develop and execute events that exceed expectations! The General Manager will be highly visible and will directly impact client experience. This GM will ensure that the campus food service operations are run efficiently and effectively. You will accomplish this by establishing good rapport with clients, identifying profit opportunities, and developing strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures that the proper management of resources, distribution of services to customers, and analyses of systems are conducted
Directs business to achieve high performance as measured by the company scorecard, participating in strategic planning meetings when necessary
Successfully builds relationships at all levels of the organizations
Builds an effective and results achieving team
Participates in the sales process by working with pre-proposal site survey team, aiding in presentations, aiding in negotiation and approving of final contact
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
7+ years of experience, 5+ years in management
Experience in personnel management including hiring, supervision, evaluation and succession planning
Ability to multi-task as well as stay on task and concentrate with constant interruptions
Must be able to make business decisions based on financial reports and similar facts
Proven ability to enhance profitability, sustainability and creativity across all channels in alignment with business strategy
Demonstrates an ability to work across multiple service lines
