Linkel Environmental Construction is seeking to hire a new construction team member to join our growing sustainable
environmental construction business. We specialize in river and stream restoration projects as well as solving coastal
erosion problems with a heavy focus on minimizing the environmental impact of construction work.
Job Description:
We are looking for a positive, energetic individual to train in fish ladder construction, dam removal, sea wall revetment,
and shoreline stabilization. You will experience the opportunity to learn from the ground up, training with our skilled
construction team to use equipment, vehicles, and specialized tools; performing all levels of tasks necessary to
complete a construction job. As a small company, all our employees are cross trained to fill in any role as needed to
achieve production goals. We utilize skid steers, excavators, and a Morooka (dump truck on tracks). Vehicles include a
boom truck, dump trucks, and crew/tool trucks. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who shares our love of the
outdoors, enjoys physical work, is reliable, safety minded, conscientious, and excited to learn and grow with us.

Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical & drug screen
Must be prepared to complete OSHA 10 training, if not already certified
Must have a valid Drivers License
Must adhere to all safety requirements, such as wearing appropriate PPE, and follow all company policies
Must be able to follow directions and be willing to ask for help as needed to problem solve
Candidates with these additional qualifications will get preferential consideration:
High school diploma or GED and/or higher education.
Experience working in landscaping, construction, masonry, carpentry, forestry, horticulture, or agriculture.
Leadership experience/ability to work independently.
Have a CDL (Class A or B).
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand or walk for long periods.
Must be able to handle heavy equipment such as wheelbarrows, hand tools, pneumatic drill, rock saw, etc. weighing
up to 50lbs.
Must be able to safely traverse uneven terrain such as rocky shorelines and rough jobsites.
Must be able to manipulate hand tools and reach/grab comfortably.
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, see, and hear well.
