The Market Risk Technology Engineering Team (in TD Securities) is responsible for the development and support of our derivatives (Interest Rate, FX, Credit, Commodity) valuation, trading risk and enterprise market risk for our organization. Our applications are hybrid cloud based and consist of: Risk & Capital Studio, Valuation Services and Curve & Volatility Generation. The main team is in Toronto and New York.

About This Role
The Market Risk Technology Engineering Team is looking to on-board a self-starting, high-performing Application Delivery Manager for our Market Risk Applications in our investment banking technology division. This role requires a strategic leader with 10-15+ years of experience in Agile/iterative delivery, technical program management, and regulatory/audit compliance within financial services.
The ideal candidate will manage a new small team called the Application Delivery Team and drive efficient Agile delivery processes, coordinate cross-functional development programs, and facilitate compliance with internal and external audits by ensuring proper documentation, controls, and risk mitigation strategies.

Job Requirements:
Area: Agile & Iterative Delivery Management
Lead Agile/iterative delivery execution across development teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
Manage and remove organizational impediments to ensure smooth project execution.
Implement key Agile delivery metrics to monitor performance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvements.
Area: Developer Program Management
Oversee technical program management for software engineering initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
Ensure technical teams adhere to best practices in software engineering, security, and risk management.
Partner with engineering leads to implement scalable and efficient development processes.
Area: Audit Compliance & Remediation
Provide leadership in audit readiness, evidence gathering, and remediation planning for technology audits as a liaison with between development teams and audit/compliance functions.
Ensure Agile delivery processes align with financial regulatory standards, internal governance, and control frameworks.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes, controls, and compliance measures.
Key Qualifications
10-15+ years of experience in Agile/iterative delivery, developer program management, and audit/compliance within financial services or investment banking. Undergraduate Degree or Master Degree, a plus.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and iterative software delivery models.
Proven experience managing large-scale development programs with multiple cross-functional teams.
Ability to understand policies and translate their requirements in software engineering processes.
A passion for simplifying and automating work, for making things better, for being efficient and helping others.
Expertise in financial regulatory compliance , technology risk management, and audit requirements.
Experience with Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) and compliance management tools.
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Exceptional attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task effectively and independently within a fast-paced environment
Certifications such as PMI-ACP, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent are a plus.
