Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of press machinery and a strong understanding of quality control processes. This role is crucial for ensuring that our production meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Operate press brake machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components.
Perform quality inspections using tools such as calipers and gauges to ensure products meet specifications.
Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve workflow efficiency.
Use hand tools and cranes safely and effectively in the production environment.
Understand and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in manufacturing processes.
Essential Skills
Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools, including calipers and gauges.
Experience operating press brake machines
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of safety practices related to operating machinery in a manufacturing setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Understanding of GD&T principles.
