Description: You will be the Production Operations Manager for the Pike County Operations team, responsible for managing the day-to-day production of missiles. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products on time, while controlling costs and meeting program objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Operations Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing dynamic strategies to ensure on-time deliveries, managing quality, schedule, and cost, and providing direction to both exempt and non-exempt personnel. You will play a key role in driving business outcomes and ensuring the success of our production operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing quality, schedule, and cost in a missile production environment
- Creating and executing dynamic strategies to ensure on-time deliveries
- Providing direction to exempt and non-exempt personnel
- Manpower planning, employee selection, training, assessment, and evaluation
- Direct interface with program senior management, government and military officials, vendors, and suppliers

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Prior demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership characteristics, experience and success leading teams, managing operations/events, proven capability to manage budgets and schedules, excellent communication skills with presentation to various size groups, and proficient use of computing resources including MS Office applications. Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
Desired Skills:
Production Operations experience in High Rate/multi shift work environment
Experience in AUR Final Assembly
Experience managing cost, quality and schedule on multiple programs.
Experience leading cross-functional team.
Greenbelt or Blackbelt certified
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
