Description
Robert Half is currently looking for a skilled Collections Specialist for the frequent needs of our local clients. The Collections Specialist will manage the aging report, bill, and collect outstanding revenue in a timely, efficient manner while maintaining high-quality customer service.
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and execute collection operations from billing to the final resolution.
Conduct account research and analysis to quickly resolve on-going issues.
Engage and negotiate with customers on payment arrangements.
Accurately document all collection activities.
Assess customer credit risk and establish credit limits.
Monitor accounts on an ongoing basis for potential problems.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in collections, credit control, or related fields.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts.
Detail-orientated and able to multitask.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to stay calm under pressure.
Understanding of FDCPA regulations is a plus.
