JOB SUMMARY
Job Profile Summary
The Aviation Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing company aircraft to ensure optimal safety, reliability, and performance. This role involves conducting routine inspections, servicing aircraft systems, and performing line service duties in accordance with internal procedures, technical manuals, and industry regulations. The position requires a flexible schedule, including occasional late evenings and/or early mornings, based on flight schedule. This role reports to the Aviation Maintenance Manager.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure aircraft airworthiness and compliance with all safety standards
Conduct daily pre-flight and post-flight inspections to verify safe operational conditions
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving aircraft discrepancies efficiently
Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Ensure proper handling and movement of aircraft on the ramp and inside the hangar
Safely refuel aircraft and coordinate fuel deliveries from suppliers
Maintain aircraft appearance by cleaning and detailing the interior and exterior
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Ground Support Equipment (GSE), including tugs, GPUs, lavatory carts, and other service equipment
Facilitate shipping and receiving of aircraft parts, including core returns
Perform other duties as assigned by the Aviation Maintenance Manager
Education
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate aviation (Part 91 operations) required
Challenger 300/350 experience preferred
Experience with maintenance tracking software (e.g., Veryon/Flightdocs, CAMP) preferred

Ability to: be highly self-sufficient, capable of working independently with minimal supervision, and able to take initiative in diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues

Knowledge of: using aviation maintenance tools and equipment
Skills in: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Licenses and Certifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification required

$68,000.00 - $102,000.00
