At ASHHO Cultural Community Center, we're looking for an experienced and compassionate Program Manager to LEAD our 12-week Culinary & Hospitality Job Training Program, set to launch in 2025. About ASHHO Cultural Community Center ASHHO is a social enterprise that unites culture, food, and community building. Our for-profit ASHHO Catering & Events Center LLC supports the non-profit ASHHO Cultural & Job Training Center, which focuses on community feeding, healing, educational initiatives, and cultural celebrations. We create opportunities for individuals overcoming obstacles to develop the skills and confidence needed for stable employment. What You'll Do: We are looking for a leader who brings thoughtfulness, kindness, and strategic insight to develop and implement this program. You will manage every aspect of the program, from curriculum development to participant support, ensuring a positive experience for all involved.

  • Develop and Execute the Program Curriculum: Work closely with ASHHO leadership and Catalyst Kitchen to design a curriculum that offers hands-on, real-world training in the culinary and hospitality industries.
  • Lead Program Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations of the training program, including scheduling and coordinating with trainers, speakers, resource management, and participant coordination.
  • Mentor and Empower Participants: Provide guidance and support to participants who have faced different challenges to employment ensuring they gain the confidence and skills necessary to succeed in the hospitality industry.
  • Collaborate with Community Partners: Build partnerships with local businesses, culinary institutions, restaurants, and community organizations to offer internship opportunities and post-program employment.
  • Evaluate and Report on Program Success: Track participant progress and program outcomes, providing regular updates to the executive team.
  • Communicate Effectively: Clearly convey program goals, updates, and achievements to leadership, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Create a Supportive Environment: Foster a welcoming and motivating atmosphere that encourages participants to grow both professionally and personally.
