Job Title: MIG Welder
Pay $20-23 (Possibly more with TIG experience)
Job Description
We are seeking experienced MIG welders to join our team. You will work with structural steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, utilizing your welding skills and technical expertise to produce high-quality products. This role involves reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and operating JIBB cranes to move materials. Welders will also receive AWSD 1.2 weld certification (6G Weld Aluminum).
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on structural steel, aluminum, and stainless steel (7 to 20 gauge thickness)
Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures
Fit and fabricate products using hand/power tools
Lift 50-75 lbs. on occasion to place and adjust materials for welds
Utilize JIBB cranes to move materials
Set up, dial, and adjust welding machines, including voltage settings
Weld metal tubes and tack together, welding bead uphill and downhill
Essential Skills
2+ years of MIG (GMAW) welding experience on aluminum, stainless steel, and structural steel
Ability to read blueprints
Proficiency in reading tape measures (down to 16ths)
Experience in adjusting welding machines and settings as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with TIG welding (GTAW)
Experience with stick welding (SMAW)
Forklift operation skills
Experience in job shops

Work Environment
You will be working in a very clean and effective environment. Our facility operates on three shifts: 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm), and 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am). Expect to work around 50 hours per week, with the possibility of early starts, late finishes, and occasional half shifts on Saturdays. There is an option for voluntary overtime on Sundays. The dress code includes jeans, a shirt, steel toe boots, and safety glasses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
