The Gananda CSD is seeking a full-time groundskeeper. This is a 12-month position, $19.46 per hour, 95% district contribution to health plan per CSEA contract. Knowledge of lawn and athletic field care in order to maintain attractive and functional grounds. Ample years of experience and/or educational background in these areas. Minuimum of one year grounds maintenance experience. Must have a valid NYS driver's license. Mandatory fingerprint clearance. RESPONSIBILITIES (Illustrative Only): Operates snow removal and lawn equipment.
Performs maintenance and cleaning of all vehicles
Performs simple maintenance and cleaning of all vehicles.
Provides for all outside grounds requests from Athletic Department.
Removal of snow and salting/sanding of driveways/sidewalks in winter.
Removes snow from building exits.
Mow lawns, mark ball fields, pick-up trash and minor landscaping.
Pick up litter on grounds.
Vacuum/sweeping of sidewalks and driveways.
Performs minor repair and maintenance of driveways and sidewalks.
Responsible for inventory of outside equipment, tools, and supplies.
May be assigned to perform some maintenance duties.
