Job Description:

Supervises the Department of Public Works function within assigned AOR. Coordinates and schedules

activities of departments within the public works family to ensure services are provided on a timely basis.

Reports the operation status of the assigned organization to public works management and/or site

management. Provides technical and public works assistance and support to projects. Interprets code,

standards, and specifications to ensure compliance with these statues during delivery of services.

Performs inspections and audits of public works activities to determine conformance with specified

requirements. Provides instruction and training for special processes and procedures. Develops

procedures and programs for providing technical support. Communicates with company and project

management as well as designers and client representatives in the establishment and implementation of public works programs. Trains, schedules, and supervises subordinate public works employees.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with

the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
