Main Responsibility:

As Executive Assistant Manager you’ll provide leadership direction to the two hotels, Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria and Holiday Inn & Suites Manila Galleria by maximizing financial returns, driving development of people, creating and maintaining memorable guest experiences, executing brand standards, and building awareness of hotel and brand in the local community. You may need to act as the General Manager in his/her absence.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

• Working as your General Manager’s trusted second-in-command – also occasionally acting up in their absence

• Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues - recognize good performance

• Interact with guests and outside contacts including, current and potential clients, government officials, travel industry representatives, suppliers, competitors local community members

• Make sure the hotel delivers the highest level of guest satisfaction through superb guest services and amenities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliance with the hotel’s or owner’s policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Maintain relations with outside contacts

• Develop and carry out action plans to be environmentally conscious by taking steps to reduce the hotel’s carbon footprint, conserve energy and protect the environment.

• Interact with guests and outside contacts including, current and potential clients, government officials, travel industry representatives, suppliers, competitors local community members

• Make recommendations for capital improvements to enhance the assets of the hotel and/or company and brand loyalty

• Manages the Rooms Division, F&B Division, Maintenance/Engineering, and Safety & Risk (Security). The hotels include three F&B outlets and meeting spaces and convention facilities at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria. Holiday Inn & Suites Manila Galleria has one F&B outlet catering to guests' breakfast.

What we need from you:

• Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Administration / Business Administration

• Three years’ general management experience in a high-level operations role especially in F&B or prior general manager experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Single status

• Preferably speaks local language; Otherwise fluency in English language is vital

• Knowledge of other languages is an advantage

This position is required to live in the Hotel
