Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Ward Hill, Massachusetts
Description We are in the process of expanding our team in the machinery manufacturing industry located in Ward Hill, Massachusetts, United States, by adding an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role provides an opportunity for a long term contract employment, where the selected candidate will be tasked with managing accounting functions, handling Accounts Payable (AP), performing reconciliations, and working with NetSuite.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the processing and management of all accounting functions in an organized manner
• Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) process, ensuring all payments are made accurately and on time
• Perform reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data
• Utilize NetSuite for various accounting tasks, maintaining efficiency and accuracy
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of customer credit information
• Address and resolve any customer inquiries related to accounts payable
• Review customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Ensure the efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Uphold the highest standards of accuracy when maintaining customer credit records
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in the accounts payable field. Requirements • Proficient knowledge and understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Demonstrated experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP).
• Ability to perform detailed and accurate Reconciliations.
• Proficiency with NetSuite software.
• Familiarity with Machinery Manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the accounting department.
