Meta Software Engineer, Product Engineering in Warsaw, Poland
Summary:
The Infra Operations Products & services (IOPS) team builds, operates and provides best-in-class operational products and services for monitoring, troubleshooting and remediation of Meta's infrastructure. Our products consistently influence the enterprise software industry by defining new standards for how our customers, internally and externally, relate to their daily work. We are looking for experienced Enterprise Engineers who share an interest for tackling complexity and develop complex systems with high scalability, availability, data integrity, and reliability.

Software Engineer, Product Engineering Responsibilities:
Build industry leading enterprise systems that are highly available, scalable, and secure
Full stack web/mobile application development with a variety of coding languages
Create products and features using internal programming language Hack
Work closely with our product management and design teams to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products that optimize for business metrics
Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services
Build report interfaces and data feeds
Complete large features (each with many tasks) and responsible for areas in the system independently without guidance
Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area and/or systems
Minimum Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience driving change within an organization and leading complex technical projects
Experience building large-scale infrastructure applications
Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
Experience working with relational databases and SQL
Experience with C, C++, Java, C# or other relevant coding languages
Experience in leading people towards a common goal

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
