Description
We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Watertown, Wisconsin. The selected candidate will be tasked with handling a variety of accounting duties, such as managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, conducting Bank Reconciliations, maintaining the General Ledger, and processing Payroll, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Maintain the General Ledger consistently and accurately
• Process Payroll in a timely and precise manner
• Conduct Journal Entries as part of the accounting process
• Manage Month End Close procedures to maintain financial consistency
• Utilize QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
• Ensure financial accuracy through reconciliation, both monthly and annually
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Knowledge of General Ledger management
• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• QuickBooks knowledge is required
• Strong in Microsoft Excel is desirable
