Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Painter - 2nd Shift (E-Coat) to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI!
The hourly rate for this position is $19.75 per hour + $2.50/hr shift premium. The core hours are 3 pm - 11 pm.

This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000*, less applicable withholding .
*Bonus terms:
Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after January 1st, 2024 to qualify.
Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply.
Associates must be employed at the time of the payout.
Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment

What you’ll do:
Electronic Coat Paint Line Operators operate the paint line system, including loading and unloading panels and large tanks. Operators are also responsible for assembling cabinets for our sister site on Lincoln Avenue and moving materials with a forklift as necessary.
In this function. you will:
Break down and hang cabinet kits and other parts on the paint line; including covers, nut guards, and miscellaneous component parts.
Unload parts onto pallets or carts without damage to painted surface.
Prepare and hang large transformer and regulator tanks.
Make proper hanger and hook selection to hang parts to ensure safe operations.
Apply and remove thread protectors, masking tape, and visually inspects parts for conformance to standards.
Operate drop sections, shuttle cars, towers, and rotators to complete the hanging of tanks, cubicles, and racks containing miscellaneous parts. Operate controls in the selection process for color and destination.
Assemble cabinets and all related hardware for Lincoln Ave.
Contact supervision or Team Lead for disposition of non-conforming parts.
Physically mark part numbers on parts, attach paperwork, and dates where applicable.
Operates stacker and fork trucks to move material to and from storage and staging areas.
Load and unload materials into and out of hook burn-off oven.
Load parts to satisfy production schedules and due dates.
Identify specialty units from paperwork and identify units to assist painters in properly painting and to ensure on-time delivery.
Qualifications:
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
Skills:
Must be able to understand standard shop specifications (shop drawings, process sheets, and measuring equipment, etc.).
Ability to work overtime when required.
Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
