Lewis and Raulerson, Inc Outside Sales Representative in Waycross, Georgia

::: {automation-id="job-description"} POSITION OVERVIEW The overall role of this position is sales and service in the Lubricant, Fuel and FueLoc (Gas/fuel credit card program) business sectors of the company and within specified geography. Efforts are focused in three specific priorities:

  1. Preserve and maintain business at assigned existing customers.
  2. Grow business at existing customers.
  3. Identify and develop new customers/ new business opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  1. Maintain safe work ethic in all business (and personal) efforts. Be aware of and ensure conformance with LandR safety requirements as well as customer requirements.

  2. Maintain an understanding of customer/prospect needs so as to provide value that meets or exceeds expectations. This is achieved not only by selling quality product but by efficient delivery and effective lubricant application support. This position carries front line responsibility between Lewis and Raulerson and the prospect/customer.

  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Basic math with the ability to use formulas, decimals and percentage mark ups.

  4. Maintain and grow personal knowledge of our products, market and its expectations in order to maximize margin and maintain competitiveness.

  5. Year over year average revenue growth.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  1. Establish working relationship with existing customers to build confidence, and loyalty. (Keys to priority #1 and 2 in Position Overview.)

  2. Close new customers via cold calling, effective selling skills, network building, customer references, market research, etc. (Key to priority #3 in Position Overview.)

  3. Continuous expansion of lubes and fuel business knowledge via trade journals, industry trade groups, supplier websites and personnel contact with our supplier support personnel.

  4. Assist with managing our FueLoc (gas-card) Program.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:

  • $49,000.00 - $105,000.00 combined salary.
  • Commission on Book of business, growth target based.

Requirements

::: {automation-id="job-requirements"} This job requires a diverse knowledge about the LandR lubricant offerings and their applications in the field and a thorough understanding of the FueLoc program. He/she must also have a good understanding of the bulk sales of fuel to commercial accounts.

  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge in Agriculture and Industrial sectors preferred but not required. :::
