Job Title: Desktop Support Technician

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure optimal performance of desktop systems. Responsibilities include installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing and resolving technical problems, and maintaining IT documentation. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems

  • Maintain IT documentation and inventory

  • Collaborate with IT team to improve system performance

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in desktop support or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of Windows

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus

Works well independently

excellent customer service skills

Works well under pressure/deadlines

Familiar with the Service-Now Platform

Familiar with Microsoft excel and working with large data set

Familiar with following steps in order to complete a rebuild of a computer

Familiar with backing up data within the windows OS

Available for an online interview

OK working with C level leadership and above

Has a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

Can lift a max 50 lbs at a time

Open to new technology and learning new ways of doing old IT processes

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
