Robert Half PC Technician in West Hills, California
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in the IT Services industry, based in West Hills, California. As a PC Technician, you will work closely with our tech team, providing client support and setup assistance.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assistance at client sites alongside our existing tech team
• Assist in setting up and configuring Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Windows 10 systems at customer locations
• Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries and issues
• Ensure accurate documentation and monitoring of customer accounts
• Participate in orientation and training sessions at the start of the contract
• Adhere to scheduled timings and reporting instructions as provided by the team
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems, including comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with various types of computer hardware, software, peripherals, and components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in an IT Services role, preferably as a PC Technician.
• Relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
• Comfortable with lifting and installing computer equipment, as needed.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT trends and technologies.
