Our dairy cooperative is seeking a Continuous Improvement Supervisor to provide principled leadership and support for company growth and improvements, while supporting employees to ensure standard operating procedures, GMPs/SQF and quality programs. The Continuous Improvement Supervisor is responsible to identify and improve the outcomes of manufacturing and operational processes to improve safety, efficiencies, reduce cost and increase customer satisfaction and promote and facilitate the successful implementation of lean/continuous improvement initiatives both individually and as the leader of project teams. The Continuous Improvement Supervisor will provide strong leadership, guidance and direction for all employees within the plant. Excellent technical knowledge of continuous improvement tools and demonstrated application of these tools in the food processing industry is essential along with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to support a 24-hour operation. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor\'s Degree and manufacturing experience in dairy manufacturing preferred. Three to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires analytical skills to identify root causes and to resolve situations and problems with viable solutions. Will present information in one-on-one and/or larger group situations. Ideal candidates have prior work experience with Lean Manufacturing-Continuous Improvement processes and training.
