Job Title: Medical Assembler
1st Shift Monday - Thursday 4am - 2:30pm $19
2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 2:30pm - 12:30am $19.53
Job Description
As a Medical Assembler, you will start in the coiling department within a cleanroom environment. You will be responsible for operating coil winding machines and working with small medical components. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work comfortably while sitting or standing for extended periods.
Responsibilities
Operate coil winding machines and wrap coils around a spindle for further assembly processes.
Inspect and cut/manipulate wires using microscopes for about 30-50% of the day.
Assemble medical products such as stints, catheters, and leads.
Deburr and inspect parts coming off molding machines using tools such as pliers, filers, and knives.
Work with small hand tools and microscopes to perform detailed assemblies.
Use laser welding machines and microscopes to weld and finish small medical components.
Operate automated presses and stamping machines to produce small metal parts for medical devices.
Inspect and deburr parts, ensuring quality standards are met.
Follow written work instructions and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Essential Skills
4-6+ months of experience in medical manufacturing or small part assembly.
4-6+ months of experience working with microscopes.
Experience in a cleanroom environment.
Proficiency in using small hand tools.
Attention to detail and hand dexterity.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical inclination is beneficial, especially for the housings area.
Experience in sewing or activities requiring good hand dexterity is a plus.
Adaptability and willingness to be cross-trained in different areas.
Comfortable with both sitting and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment
The positions are primarily in a cleanroom environment, requiring gowning up with smocks, booties, hair nets, and eye protection. Some roles are in a non-cleanroom area, which is louder and requires steel-toed shoe covers. Candidates must be comfortable with both sitting and standing throughout their shifts and adapt to different work conditions.
